Jim Baker — Treasurer’s report, about $9100. Have a lot of merchandise to sell. Need 8 more memberships to meet expenses for the year. Jerry Pokorny told us his story of how he got a bike shipped from England. He selected a company called “Auto shippers” in the U.K. It was a good decision, bike was in great condition and a ton of paperwork was handled for Jerry by the company. Did a great job with communication. If not everything was correct, the customs dept. can seize your bike. It was about $2K for everything to get it shipped and took 6 weeks.
Tilden and David from Boulder Street moto visited the meeting. Talked about their DIY motorcycle garage, a nonprofit. Most members have small displacement Japanese bikes. Have lifts, bike storage, group rides, open wrench nights and Distinguished Gentleman’s ride, which is this year on May 22, see more info at [https://www.gentlemansride.com/](www.gentlemansride.com/).
Jim passed around a tool called a back tap thread repair tool. Captain Bob needed a better option for pulling a thread damaged spark plug.
Gary’s planned ride today is to Kiowa, out Interquest parkway up hwy 83, to Castle Rock and stop in Sedalia for a break and come home by 105 to Palmer Lake. Reminder on June 4, going out to Craig for an overnight ride – let Gary know if you want to go for sure.
